You will have to first register for an online account if you want to pay your credit card bills online. To do so, follow these steps:

Visit the website at www.discover.com
On the left side, you will see the log in section. At the bottom of that section, you will see a “Register Now” link. Click on it.

Now click the “Register Now” button under the “Credit Cards” section:

You will now be on the registration page. The first step is to enter your account information. These include your credit card number, date of birth and social security number. When completed, click the “Continue” button.

Next, choose your username and password.
Finally, set your account preferences to complete the registration process. You will receive an email confirmation shortly.
After you have registered your account, access it through the website homepage. Just enter your User ID and password and click the “Log In” button.
Once your personal account has loaded, click the “Make a Payment” button and enter your amount to pay the credit card bill.

How can I pay my bills through mail?

Paying your credit card bills by mail is very easy. Just follow these steps:

Payments are to be made only using a personal check, cashier’s check or money order. Do not send cash
You should write down your customer account number on the check or money order.
Send your payment to the following address – Discover Financial Services, P.O. Box 6103, Carol Stream, IL 60197-6103.
Make sure to send the mail at least 7 to 10 days before the bill due date. This will help you to avoid being liable for any late payment charges.

To pay your bills through phone, call the 24 hour toll free number at 1-800-347-2683.
Follow the instructions and provide your bank account number and routing number to complete the payment.
If payment is made before 5PM EST, it will be posted to your account that same day. If payment is made after 5PM EST, it will only be posted the next business day.

Can I pay the bills through Western Union?

Yes, you can. Just follow these steps:

Visit any Western Union location near you. To find one, call 1-800-325-6000
Provide the company name – Discover Card, company’s city code – WESTPAY, IL and your account number
Pay the bill amount. The payment will be credited to your account in about 24 hours.
